TTS Group and Ulstein have secured a contract to supply a motion compensated crane to a Louis Dreyfus Armateurs service operations vessel.
The partnership will deliver the kit in quarter two next year. LDA has a contract with Dong to provide an SOV for operations in the German North Sea starting at the end of 2018.
TTS and Ulstein have meanwhile confirmed a tie-up to offer the cranes to others in the offshore wind industry.
“Joining forces has enabled both our companies to offer a serious and commercially very attractive alternative in this market segment,” said TTS sales manager Carl Herland.
