An offshore wind mission from the Netherlands visited the Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Fujian this week to provide a bridge for Dutch companies wishing to be active in the sector in China.
Officials from the Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency participated in the event, which was organised in collaboration with the Netherlands Consulate General in Guangzhou.
A total of 12 companies participated in the visit, including representatives from Damen Shipyards, VBMS, MPI Offshore, Tideaway and Cape Holland, said HHWE.
The mission included seminars and company visits to gain insight into future development plans and potential opportunities and challenges in Guangdong and Fujian.
