Renewable energy fund Octopus Energy Investments has closed €60m in funding to refinance a portfolio of solar farms in France totalling 17.4MW.
The fully amortizing 14-year loan has been provided by Bpifrance and Credit Cooperatif banks, both acting as mandated lead arrangers, Octopus said.
The debt is secured against 66 rooftop solar power plants across southern and central France.
Eleco Capital and Linklaters advised Octopus, while WFW, Mazars and Willis advised the lenders.
