Tunisia has launched a tender with the aim of deploying up to 210MW of renewable energy.
The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies is seeking 140MW of wind power and 70MW of solar power.
The deadline for the bids for the solar capacity and 70MW of the wind capacity is 15 November. The deadline for the remaining 70MW of wind power is 15 August 2018.
Some 120MW of wind power is available for wind projects up to 30MW in size, while the remaining 20MW will be allocated to projects up to 5MW.
The tender also offers 60MW of solar capacity to projects up to 10MW, with the remainder for plants up to 1MW.
