Three VBMS cable layers have been photographed together during wire installation duty at Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off Suffolk.
The Ndurance (pictured centre) is currently laying the second of two 45km-long export cables between Sizewell beach and the offshore substation.
Ndeavor (right) and Stemat Spirit (left) have so far connected 26 of the 56 turbines to the substation via JDR-made array cables.
Swire Blue Ocean installation vessel Pacific Orca successfully lifted the first Siemens 6MW turbine into place earlier this week.
First power is expected to be generated at the project later this summer.
