Cable and pipe specialist MCT Brattberg has supplied cable penetration seals for the offshore substation at Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off Suffolk.
Keith Thompson of Heerema, the outfit which constructed the substation, said he was “delighted” to use MCT Brattberg on the project.
“Their professional support and ability to offer a service above market expectancy made them the obvious choice for the project,” he added.
The substation topside is due to be installed at the 56-turbine wind farm later this month by Seaway Heavy Lifting vessel Oleg Strashnov.
