Renewables investor Impax Asset Management has reported “significant” progress in fundraising for its new green energy infrastructure fund.
Chief executive Ian Simm reported “record net inflows” and positive growth “with fundraising for our new private equity renewable infrastructure fund”.
Simm was speaking after the company published interim results for the first six months of its 2017 financial year that showed new inflows of £870m.
Revenue was up to £13.9m for the period compared with £9.4m for the same six months a year earlier.
Pre-tax profit meanwhile was £2.4m, up from £2.1m in the year-ago period.
“We are seeing sustained interest from investors in many countries who are looking to access superior expected returns,” added Simm.
“With the Company’s assets under management recently passing the £6 billion milestone, we continue to scale existing products across both Listed Equities and Real Assets, while also considering the development of our product range in response to client interest.”
