Dutch companies Hollandia Offshore and Croonwolter&dros are collaborating to provide an “all-in” package for the offshore wind sector.
The duo said they can offer specialised steelwork, such as substations, and installation technology in response to market demand for an all-in service.
Croonwolter&dros has provided maintenance to the 120MW Prinses Amalia wind farm, while Hollandia was awarded a contract for the substation at Vattenfall’s 288MW DanTysk wind farm.
Croonwolter&dros division director Aco van de Ven said: “Operators like to work with companies that can take on projects in their entirety.
“Then they have a single point of contact for both the steelwork and the technical systems.
“Now that Croonwolter&dros are working in collaboration with Hollandia, as equal partners, we form one of the most experienced partnerships.”
