GE Renewable Energy is to supply 81 turbines totalling 199.5MW to HECIC for two wind farms in China.
Some 54 GE 2.75-120 machines will be delivered to the Senjitu III project, while 27 GE 1.85-82.5 units will go the Qiansongba facility, both in Fengning county in Hebei province.
The blades for Senjitu III will be made by LM Wind Power, GE said.
The deal also includes GE’s digital wind farm solutions and a two-year warranty.
Both projects are scheduled to start commercial operations by the end of 2017.
GE Onshore Wind Business president and chief executive Pete McCabe said: “This is a significant step forward for both GE and HECIC in China, and this deal will help to expand HECIC’s renewable energy presence in China.”
