Swire Blue Ocean jack-up vessel Pacific Orca has left the port of Great Yarmouth with the first batch of turbines for Innogy’s 336MW Galloper offshore wind farm off the Suffolk coast.
Seaway Heavy Lifting has also installed the offshore substation for the project.
Galloper will consist of 56 Siemens 6MW turbines and is scheduled to start operating in March 2018.
GeoSea completed installation off the turbine foundations in late March.
