Rhenus Offshore Logistics is set to perform regular supply duties for Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off the UK east coast.
The vessel Blue Betria (pictured) will continue making cargo deliveries during the commissioning phase of the project’s offshore substation following its first run on 23 May.
The contract, which involves delivering food, tools, spare parts and fuel, is the Germany company’s first major project out of its new offshore base at the port of Great Yarmouth.
Regular supply runs will continue over the next several months as the offshore installation continues.
The first of 56 Siemens 6MW turbines was installed at Galloper this month and the project is expected to be fully operational by 2018.
