Norway’s Seaproof Solutions has launched a retrofit J-tube for the offshore wind industry designed to protect systems for subsea cables, umbilicals or flexible pipes.
The tubes, which can connect to multiple types of foundation, are composed of a light weight, heavy duty composite polyurethane.
Retrofitted products are delivered in multiple sections and can be assembled on site before being piggybacked to turbine foundations, Seaproof said.
