The final turbine has been erected at Boralex’s 24MW Mont de Bagny wind project in the far north of France.
Windhoist lifted the last of eight Siemens 3.2MW machines at the construction site near the Belgian border, according to a Windhoist LinkedIn post.
Mont de Bagny is among five wind farms that Canada’s Boralex said in March would be commissioned this year.
The others are the 15MW Moose Lake project in British Columbia and the 23MW Artois, 10MW Voie des Monts, and 4MW Plateau de Savernat-phase 2 projects in France.
