India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has revealed plans for a second 1GW wind power tender in the south Asian country.
The tender will be open to developers on a build, own and operate basis for projects between 50MW and 250MW, according to MNRE documents.
The Solar Energy Corporation of India is the government agency tasked with administering the tender.
The first 1GW wind tender was announced in June last year.
