Vestas has secured turbine orders totalling 268MW for wind farms in Argentina and Greece.
The Danish manufacturer will supply Genneia with 62 V126-3.45 machines for projects close to Puerto Madryn in the Chubut region of Argentina.
The contract includes installation and a 10-year active output management (AOM) 5000 service agreement.
Commissioning for phase 1 and 2 of the project is expected for the third quarter of 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Vestas will also supply Protergia with 24 V100 2MW turbines for the 48MW Petalas wind farm in Aitoloakarnania in western Greece.
The deal includes installation and a 10-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
