Dutch outfit Ampelmann has launched a new transfer unit with an expanded capacity for transporting people and equipment between vessels and wind turbines.
The A400 (pictured), unveiled at London Offshore Wind Energy 2017, has widened gangways that can support the use of trolleys that can carry up to 400kg of cargo.
The system also includes an elevator and can transfer “multiple” people, Ampelmann said.
