Heavy-hitters including Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy are preparing to discuss the leading offshore wind role being played by the Niedersachsen-Bremen region.
SGRE chief executive and Andreas Wellbrock of industry body WAB will be joined by Bremen State councillor Ronny Meyer and Ralf Borchers of the Niedersachsen economics ministry on 7 June at Offshore Wind Energy 2017 in London.
The group wil discuss “the region’s development potential but also imminent challenges for the offshore wind power industry and what solutions the region can offer”.
Infrastructure in the region includes ports in Bremen, Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven. Numerous manufacturers, logistics and O&M companies also call the area home.
