Consultancy Natural Power has appointed Christine Bordonaro as principal engineer on its due diligence team in North America to support work on wind and solar projects.
She was most recently at DNV GL, where she carried out and managed technical due diligence reviews on commercial and utility-scale solar projects in the US and Canada.
Bordonaro (pictured) also conducted technical reviews and bankability studies for photovoltaic equipment, which consisted of factory audits across China and Europe.
Prior to DNV GL, she was at Evergreen Solar and Satcon.
Bordonaro said: “I’m excited to be joining a growing company and I’m looking forward to supporting the team as we continue to expand our solar energy consulting services.”
Natural Power North America president Jim Adams said: “This strategic hire ensures we continue to expand our North American solar presence, and further strengthens the team’s experience that has been built up over recent years.”
The company has also moved bigger offices in Seattle to accommodate a growing number of employees.
