Dutch outfit C-bed is deploying its floating hotel Wind Innovation to Orsted’s 659MW Walney 3 wind farm in the Irish Sea.
The vessel will support construction at the wind farm where 47 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines are due to be installed starting in January.
A total of 40 MHI Vestas V164 8MW turbines are already installed at the project off Cumbria.
Walney 3 is due to be commissioned in 2018.
