Vattenfall has published the preliminary environmental information report for the up to 340MW Thanet 2 offshore wind farm off the Kent coast of the UK.
The publication of the PEIR comes on the same day that the Swedish company kicks off formal pre-application consultation for the project.
The consultation runs from 27 November to 12 January.
Vattenfall is planning up to 34 turbines at the project with a range of foundation, cabling and design options under consideration.
A planning application is due to be submitted in 2018.
