EnBW commissioned seven wind farms totalling 70MW in Germany in September, a company record for one month.
Six of the projects are located in Baden-Württemberg – Dünsbach, Fichtenau, Rosenberg, Brettenfeld, Burgholz and Aalen-Waldhausen – with the seventh at Buchholz in Lower Saxony.
Vestas and Nordex supplied 3.3MW turbines, with hub heights between 134 and 164 metres, for the wind farms, EnBW said.
The company added that it has also built a substation specifically for the Dünsbach, Burgholz, Brettenfeld and Langenburg projects.
