Windhoist has installed the first of 56 turbines at the 201.6MW Aftissat wind farm in Morocco.
The Siemens Gamesa 3.6-130 machine has a hub height of 100 metres, Windhoist said.
The project is being developed by Société Energie Eolienne du Maroc.
It is located some 45km south of Boujdour.
