Prysmian Group will showcase a new turnkey solution to prevent subsea cable damage at the WindEurope 2017 conference and trade fair, which starts tomorrow in Amsterdam.
The power link cable solution, which aims to reduce downtime and costs, combines monitoring and maintenance services into a one-stop shop to manage cable faults, the company said.
The cloud-based system provides 24/7 wireless monitoring of cables operating conditions, backed up with a team of technicians.
Prysmian has also set up a marine base in Middlesbrough fully equipped for maintenance interventions.
