Senvion has deployed its 7777th wind turbine, bringing total installed capacity to almost 17GW.
The milestone was reached with the deployment of a 3.2M122 machine at the Kerkow-Mürow-Landin 38.4MW project in Germany.
The project, which is being developed by Teut Windprojekte, is located near Angermünde in the Brandenburg region of the country.
The hardware has a hybrid tower with a hub height of 139 metres and a rotor diameter of 122 metres.
Senvion said it has installed turbines between 1.5MW and 6.2MW across 28 countries.
Senvion chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said: “Senvion has expanded significantly over the past several years growing into new markets globally while extending and innovating technologically.”
