Arpi Solar is soon to start work on a 55MW solar plant at Masrik in the Gegharkunik region of Armenia.
The local outfit recently completed the 1MW Talin 1 project in the country, the first solar plant in Armenia.
Arpi Solar general director Hayk Chobanyan said the projects signal the start of a solar drive in the country.
Talin 1 consists of 3700 JinkoSolar photovoltaic panels and is scheduled to operate for 25 years.
Arpi Solar designed, implemented the constructed the project in cooperation with JinkoSolar, Staubli, Enerparc and Sungrow.
