Tekmar Energy has supplied polyurethane J-tube bellmouths and cover disks for the transformer platforms at the 600MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm off the coast of Denmark.
The bellmouths aid cable installation by providing a mechanical interface for the cable protection system to lock into, the company said.
Tekmar said the bellmouths were manufactured ahead of schedule at its facility in the north-east of England.
The units have since been installed on the platforms’ gravity-based foundations, which are under construction at Ostend in Belgium, the company added.
