Senvion has confirmed that it will supply turbines totalling 97.2MW to Eren Renewables’ Los Hercules wind farm in Argentina.
The deal covers delivery and installation of 27 of the German manufacturer’s 3.6M114 NES turbines with 93-metre hub heights.
The project, which is located in the Deseado region of Santa Cruz province, is expected to be completed by December next year.
The confirmation follows the fulfilment of all “conditions precedent”, Senvion said.
Senvion chief sales officer David Hardy said: “We are looking forward to the further positive development of the project with Eren RE that has until now lead to a financial close in record time, despite challenging market conditions.”
