Senvion India has secured a repeat order from KP Energy Limited for 20 of its flagship wind turbines.
The 4.2M160 wind turbines will be installed in the Bharuch district of Gujarat, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The scope includes supply and supervision, along with a comprehensive operations and maintenance contract.
This 84MW project will mark one of the early commercial deployments of the 4.2M160, Senvion’s largest turbine offering.
Designed to deliver high energy yields in low wind conditions, the 4.2M160 is engineered with a 160-metre rotor and hub height up to 140 metres.
The turbine, part of the 4XM platform, was engineered by Senvion in India and Germany, and manufactured in India.
The 4.2M160 operates with advanced controls that adapt to changing conditions, ensuring consistent output and reducing long-term loads, the company said.
Senvion India chief executive and managing director Amit Kansal said: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with KP Energy.
