Siemens Gamesa has secured three orders for turbines totalling 60MW in Greece from two unnamed independent power producers.
The manufacturer will supply eight G114-2.0MW machines for the 16MW Kali Hitsa wind farm and 12 G90-2.0MW for the 24MW Litharoserma project, which are both located in the Aetolia-Acarnania region of southern Greece.
A further 10 turbines also with individual capacity of 2MW will go to an unnamed project in the country.
The hardware will be supplied during the second half of 2018 and the company will provide operations and maintenance services for all the projects for 10 years.
