ABB offers Amsterdam feast

ABB is showcasing a range of technologies at the WindEurope 2017 conference and trade fair in Amsterdam this week.

The Swiss company said the technologies include digital solutions, such as the ABB Ability portfolio and TXpert distribution transformer.

It will also present wind turbine design and integration systems, such as the WindStar special transformer, drive train, pitch and yaw unit.

ABB power grids’ Alfredo Parres said: “Our exhibits at this event also provide insights to wind power developers and operators on how new digital and analytics-based technologies can provide them with vital real-time inputs to make informed operational decisions making them more competitive and improving business performance.”
