EDF Renewable Energy has commissioned the Switch Station 1&2 solar plants in Nevada with a combined capacity of 179MW.
The two facilities, which are located in Clark County, cover about 727 hectares and are comprised of 1,980,840 solar panels.
About 1300 people were involved during the construction of the projects, EDF said.
Switch Station 1&2 will supply electricity to Nevada Power Company and Sierra Pacific Power Company, both subsidiaries of NV Energy.
