Global asset manager Capital Dynamics is teaming up with Australian outfit Channel Capital to offer global renewable energy investment opportunities for institutional investors in Australia.
Capital Dynamics’ clean energy infrastructure team has about $3bn in assets under management with over 3.1GW in its current portfolio.
Channel Capital head of distribution Andrew King said: “From all of our dialogue with our clients over the last 12 months, we appreciate that high quality offshore renewable assets are difficult to access for both direct investors and asset managers that are not renewable specialists.
“Given the sheer size of the renewable sector within infrastructure globally moving forward, considering a specialist in the space seems a prudent option to consider.
“We are delighted to be able to offer our clients access to who we consider to be a leading clean energy infrastructure manager, Capital Dynamics.”
