DEME Offshore has named its new jack-up vessel, the Norse Energi.
The vessel will soon begin operations in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.
Among its first projects are the Windanker offshore wind farm for Iberdrola in the German Baltic Sea, scheduled to start in June 2026, followed by Ørsted’s Hornsea 3 project in the United Kingdom, commencing in the third quarter of 2026, DEME said.
DEME CEO Luc Vandenbulcke said: “These vessels reflect our ambition to push boundaries and support our customers in delivering the next wave of offshore wind projects.
“With the addition of Norse Energi and Norse Wind to our fleet, DEME is further reinforcing its commitment to accelerating the energy transition and delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for offshore wind projects worldwide.”
The company also posted a group turnover amounting of €1.02bn million euros, up 2% compared to €993m a year ago.
The order book came in at €7.4 billion euros, compared to €7.6 billion euros a year ago and at the end of 2025.
