Logistics operator Collett has set up a subsidiary in Ireland that is delivering turbine components for wind farms at Tullahennel and Meenwaun.
Collett (Ireland) has been established in response to anticipated “increased volumes and workload” following “successfully winning orders” for projects in Ireland, the company said.
“The time is right to stretch our arms across the Irish Sea and open our own Irish company. This demonstrates our commitment to the Irish market and to build stronger ties with our clients and suppliers,” Collett said.
The company added that it has had “very positive feedback for future projects”, in addition to the Tullahennel and Meenwaun wind farms.
