The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has approved TrønderEnergi’s plans to build and operate the 90MW Stokkfjellet wind farm in Selbu county, Norway.
TrønderEnergi will invest approximately Nkr900m (€96m) in the project and is open to inviting other companies to invest in the wind farm.
The company has been planning the project for several years and has deployed met masts at multiple heights for four years at the site.
TrønderEnergi has a portfolio of projects totalling about 200MW, including the Stokkfjellet facility.
