JinkoSolar Holding is to supply modules totalling 17MW to Borea Construction to build the Brooks solar plant in Canada.
The project, which is located in Brooks in the province of Alberta, will comprise 48,500 of JinkSolar’s mono perc units.
Elemental Energy owns the project, which is the first utility-scale solar project in western Canada.
JinkoSolar US general manager Nigel Cockroft said: “We are proud to work with Borea Construction and Elemental Energy on the Brooks solar project, a landmark project for the province of Alberta.”
