The transition piece has been installed on the foundation of Ideol’s 2MW Floatgen floating offshore wind turbine, which will be located off the French coast.
The turbine will be installed at the SEM-REV experimental test site off Le Croisic in France.
The project will feature a 2MW Vestas V80 turbine.
It is scheduled to be installed before the end of the year.
