Inox Wind is to supply turbines totalling 100MW to a wind farm being developed by Adani Green Energy at Kutch in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The deal includes the delivery, installation and commissioning of 50 2MW machines with hub heights of 120 metres and rotor diameters of 113 meters.
The work will be carried out over the next six to nine months, Inox said.
Inox will also provide operations and maintenance services once the project is operational.
Adani Green Energy chief executive Jayant Parimal said: “Adani Green Energy has a growth plan to increase its renewable power capacity to 10,000MW by 2021.”
