Munich RE has acquired a 49% interest in two wind farms in northern Texas with a combined generation capacity of 460MW from Starwood Energy, for an undisclosed sum.
The Horse Creek and Electra projects, located in Haskell and Wilbarger counties, respectively, both began operations in late 2016.
They each feature 100 GE 2.3-116 wind turbines generating up to 230MW of power.
