LM Wind Power is expanding its operations at the Port of Little Rock in Arkansas to accommodate the construction of longer wind turbines.
“The industry trend worldwide is towards longer blades – that’s a natural development in the drive to reduce the levelized cost of energy,” an LM spokesperson said.
The expansion involves the construction of a new post-molding facility and marks the second time in 12 months that the company has invested more in the site.
