Russia’s Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation is mulling an investment in the wind turbine manufacturing business of India’s Inox Group, according to local media.
Citing two people familiar with the situation, India’s Livemint business publication reported that the Russian company is eyeing the investment to gain control over the manufacturing supply chain and make a more competitive offering in the Indian wind power market.
Talks between the two companies are in “the early stages”, one of the people said.
