Vattenfall has issued an invitation to tender for companies interested in providing marine warranty services at its offshore wind farms in Europe.
The work will involve the review of all construction procedures and calculations related to marine operations, and inspecting equipment and offshore work in order to issue appropriate certificates of compliance.
Up to three companies will enter into framework agreements for four years to carry out the work, according to the invitation.
The prospective agreements are valued at between €500,000 and €1.5m.
The deadline for applications is 15 September, with selected candidates set to be informed on 2 October. They will then submit tenders, with a decision expected in December this year.
