Siemens Gamesa is to supply Canary Islands energy distributor Disa with turbines totalling 23.1MW for two wind farms on Tenerife.
Under the terms of the deal, the manufacturer will install 11 G114-2.1MW machines at the Bermejo and Vera de Abote wind farms in Arico.
Construction is already underway and delivery of the turbines will start at the end of this year.
Siemens Gamesa is EPC contractor and will provide all of the infrastructure needed to install and operate the facility.
The projects are scheduled for commissioning during the second half of 2018.
