Swedish outfit MMT has chartered the Olympic Delta survey vessel from Norwegian company Olympic Subsea to meet increasing customer demand.
The DP 2 survey/IMR vessel (pictured) will be used for remote operated vehicle services, with the first project to be in Biscay.
MMT has also invested in a new surveyor interceptor in partnership with Reach Subsea.
“The investment in a new surveyor interceptor will increase our capacity to our customers, to bring the revolutionary technology and services that this new concept represents,” the company said.
MMT chief executive Stefan Eliasson said: “This is an important milestone for MMT.
“With these new platforms we will maintain our position as the technical forefront marine survey company for the offshore industry.”
