German outfit SeaRenergy is to provide quality, health, safety, environment management and support for the high voltage AC export cable between the BorWin Gamma platform and the 497MW Hohe See offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
Chinese power cable manufacturer ZTT, which is the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning contractor on the project, awarded the contract to SeaRenery.
The scope of the work covers cable load-out, cable transport and installation, as well as the commissioning and testing phase.
SeaRenergy has started the job, which is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019.
