Titan Technologies Corp has ordered Fraunhofer IWES lidar buoys for two offshore wind farm sites off China’s Fujian coast.
The lidars will be used to gather offshore wind data for the Changle and Zhangpu wind projects, which are being developed by China Three Gorges Corp.
The wind farms are expected to have capacity totalling 4GW, Fraunhofer IWES said.
