UK company Offshore Turbine Services and Dutch outfit Seazip Offshore Service have teamed up to provide a crew transfer vessel (CTV) during the construction of Suomen Hyötytuuli’s 42MW Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm off the coast of Finland.
The Lieutenant P CTV provided support during foundation installation and the marine civils aspect of construction.
The vessel is now assisting the turbine manufacturer technicians on site.
Tahkoluoto comprises 10 Siemens Gamesa 4.2MW turbines and is scheduled to come online in September.
