EDF Energies Nouvelles has made a public offer to buy the outstanding 32.8% of shares in French renewable energy company Futuren that it doesn’t already own.
The offer also includes convertible OCEANE bonds with the bid prices set at €1.15 per share and €9.37 per bond ex coupon.
A deal to for EDF EN to acquire a 67.2% stake in Futuren and 96% of its OCEANE bonds was completed in June.
The latest offer is open until 19 July.
EDF Group senior executive vice president renewable energies Antoine Cahuzac said: “We believe that we have valued the company fairly, allowing minority shareholders to benefit from immediate liquidity on the same terms as offered to the former majority shareholders.”
