Vestas has signed a long-term service agreement with Infigen Energy for Vestas and Suzlon turbines totalling 557MW in Australia.
The deal covers Infigen’s entire operating wind portfolio, which comprises 368MW of Vestas hardware and 189MW of Suzlon S88 machines at six projects in the Australasian country.
The work, which involves full-scope active output management 5000 service packages, will start on 1 January next year and run for between seven and 15 years depending on the wind farm, Vestas said.
Infigen managing director Ross Rolfe said: “Vestas has a proven track record, developed over many years, for delivering high quality service and optimal asset performance.”
Vestas Asia Pacific region president Clive Turton said: “Infigen is a trusted long-term partner and we look forward to helping Infigen continue to get the best possible lifetime return on investment over their entire fleet.”
