Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has applied to the European Investment Bank (EIB) for €101m to fund renewables investments around the world.
The application says that the funds target equity and mezzanine-type investments in northwestern Europe, North America and a small number of non-OECD countries.
The total cost of the investments would be in region of €3.024bn.
The bank said the application is currently “under appraisal”.
